Career options after Class 10th

After completion of 10th grade, students get confused as to what stream is best for our future. This is a more crucial and transition period for students as choosing right stream in right college decides their future.

Selecting the right course after class 10th is not an easy task. Before selecting a stream from commerce, science or arts one should first assess its interest. In India, the students have many career paths to choose from The main 3 stream mostly students consider to pursue after class 10.

Arts/Humanities Stream: – Deals with a Large number of courses such as History, Geography, Political Science, Home Science, Psychology, English, Hindi, philosophy etc.

This stream has a variety of Subjects which offers exciting opportunities after 12^th. in this stream, you can choose subject Political Science, humanities, human resourcing, History, Geography, Psychology, Sociology, Human Resources, journalism etc. English and Hindi are two compulsory subjects which you have to study with optional subjects. If you are interested in social services, human rights so you can also join mass media and journalism after 12th.

Commerce Stream: – Deals with courses on is corporate related and business

Commerce stream offers many subjects but the most important two subject are like Accounts, business studies etc. students who are interested in accounts, economics or business studies subjects should choose these subjects. After 12th commerce, there are various popular graduate courses offered by universities like B.Com, BBA, BBM, CA, CS, ICWA, CFP etc.

Students also can appeared in some courses entrance exams after 10th commerce stream are CA, CS, ICWA etc.

Science Stream: – Deals with courses in Medical sciences and Engineering

This stream offers 5 subjects English, Hindi, Physics, chemistry, mathematics/Bio-logy and all subjects are compulsory except Mathematics and Biology. You can choose one of these two. If anybody wants to make carrier in medical or medical related field he can choose these courses like MBBS, BDS, BHMS, Pharmacy etc.

If someone are interested in some technical field than he can go for various engineering courses like engineering in computer, electronic, civil and in architectural courses etc.

Industrial Training Institute: – ITI provide training in the technical field. Students who want to get admissions in technical courses but they do not have enough funds to do so than they should go for this 1 year course called ITI. After this, they can get admissions in
polytechnic diploma courses.

Polytechnic Diploma: – Students who want to get admission in technical courses should take admission in polytechnic diploma. It is a 3 year course.

Certification courses: – Candidates can get admissions in different certificate courses after class 10th like networking, Digital Marketing tally etc. but these courses have less job opportunity. These courses have a time duration of 6 months 1 year according to the preference of student.

Diploma courses: – includes Engineering, Hotel Management, Leather Technology, Textile Designing, Medical laboratary,  Social Services.
